til lukku með fyrsta willysinn. vona að félagi þinn sjái ljósið sem fyrst! Hérna hefurðu (svona til gamans)lista yfir það hvernig það gengur fyrir sig að eiga svona grip.

. Acquisition – Naturally, this is where Jeep life begins. You’ve gotten your first Jeep, the egg stage
2. Illusion – This is the second, or blind larva stage. You envision the Super Jeep, and a world in which money, wives, parts, time and space cannot stay you from your mission.
3. Realization – Reality check! You realize that everything will try to interfere with your Jeep dream. The wife wants her garage back, the money has long since vanished, and locating the parts you need is impossible.
4. Frustration – the withdrawal, or pupa stage. You begin to question your dream. That thing in the garage just sucks money like a giant vaccuum. Everytime you take it out, something else breaks.
5. Determination – The enlightenment stage. You’ve come this far, you are gonna stick to it. One part at a time, one mod at a time, forget the end goal, the joy is in the journey.
6. Education – The emergence. You discover others like yourself. You find out that parts can be substituted. You learn that junk yards are treasure chests. Others tell you about many sources for elusive parts.
7. Transformation – For both you and your beloved Jeep. Your wings are starting to spread, you have become one with the Jeep, that has somehow become exactly what you wanted.
In this stage, you have accepted the money thing, the Jeep has found a permanent space, and you can no longer hear the wife’s complaining.
