[quote="javiero":3iqdkk6n]I used the free map on a Garmin Ique and has less information than the 15000isk, but for Iceland is more than enough and it worked just fine.
The only thing is that the roads are not included as such and the instrument doesn’t use them for route calculations, but other than that is good.[/quote:3iqdkk6n]
on the other hand there might be some piracy issues involved

are you guys still planning to go on sunday at 10 from the Olis?
I would like to come along with a patrol 35".
Are you planning to go for a bath at Reykjadalur also?
Well, quite an experience
Far from an easy óbreytt cars trip, but unbelievable … very good group, amazing landscape and fair weather for January.
We were 3 spaniards in a patrol 35", one of us is having his birthday today and he already told me that this is one of the birthdays he will remember
We got an intensive course on driving over rubber (air is for chicken), extreme repairs (yep, I manage to get the tyre OFF the wheel) and extreme patience (you guys didn’t leave us behind).
I want to use the occasion to single out Grimur on his galloper and the guys with the suzuki … we’d still be on the middle of nowhere if it wasn’t for them :), and in general everybody’s attitude … I can’t wait to have another trip with a slightly better weather … until then take care.
